I found a bitlocker drive in my Local Services while getting rid of McAfee. I have installed Avira instead - the cheapest one they offer.
Is this driver part of Windows 7 System or could it be the remains of an aborted try at installing BitLocker Security on my computer two or three weeks ago. (I decided it was too complex for me so I abandoned the attempt before I got to the shopping basket.)
Does it do any harm - or any good ? My instinct is to leave it alone.
Would be grateful for any advice. It doesn`t seem to be causing any trouble at the moment.
