Network Discover and File/Print sharing gpo

Hello,
I am hoping someone can lead me in the right direction. I have found various online articles on this subject but can't pinpoint an answer. I want enable both Network Discovery and File and Print Sharing in a domain on Windows 7. I tried different things shown in these links

When I try this the gpo gets applied but I don't see any change in the actual location Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings as show in screenshot. Also, the firewall is disable throughout my domain on all machines. Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.
