I have Windows 7. If I need a one time admin. privilege I just right click on the particular program &
that still works for me. However, when I need to download something that will only proceed if I
use admin. I used to be able to use command prompt & type in net user administrator /active:yes
but now this is rejected no matter what I do.
The only thing that has changed is that I had created a separate user account that had administrator
privileges to save myself from having to use command prompt each time. I have two questions:
1) Will something that I download in the administrator acct (in this case it was an IE browser fix from Microsoft as a response to the Poodle browser bug) apply to my regular account?
2) If my creating this separate admin. acct caused my issue with not being able to run as admin.
using command prompt, how do I delete this acct??
Thank you so much.
