I rarely use my netbook but when i do i am confronted with updated messages that seem to be happening a lot. I have 4gb ram and Win 7 Home Premium. It seems all those updated files being installed has 'stalled' it to a rather slow pace. I was wondering if I can just reinstall with the recovery disks that I have that may produce quicker responses. A while back I sold a Dell laptop that had the same problem with XP. When the guy came over to pick it up, he immediately removed the OS and reinstalled it with Dell's disk that came with it. Upon completion, I noticed how fast it was going and sort of sorry that I sold it..but a deal is a deal. Now, I was wondering if I could have the same effect on my netbook? Then I thought, those recovery disks do not have all those updated files that I have been getting and most likely would have to go through that process all over again. Would appreciate thoughts on this matter. Thanks
