frustration, minor but annoying

sys info below. problem is with W7/IE 11 and the Favorites drop-down menu. that menu keeps jumping back to closed as I pass the cursor down the list. seem mostly to happen if I am "indecisive" or slow in choosing the site I want to re-visit, and when the link I want is in a folder, thereby involving opening two links. I can eventually get the link to open... but it's _very_ annoying. I think this is new to IE 11 (v10 was factory installed), but I am not sure... don't keep records like that (though maybe I should...)
