Black patches on Firefox?

Lately, it seems like whenever a new web page opens and is loading, the usually white background will change to black before the page loads.

Additionally, there will be times when I'm scrolling down and there will occasionally be thin or thick black lines alongside whatever I'm looking at.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I've tried taking a picture, but it seems to disappear when I bring up Snipping Tool.
