I had bought a new Dell computer. Always had good luck with them. That changed with my last and final purchase of there products. I now have o computer that is completly worthless to me. I have had nothing but trouble with it from the start. I cannot remember ever enjoying it. I believe it to be like some cars a lemon. The last problem I had shut the computer down completely. Still under warranty, I talked to Dell, they surmised that I needed a new hard drive. They did not tell me why or how this happened. They told me they would send the harddrive to a tech. And that tech would contact me, with a time to come by and install it. Tech called, my wife told the male tech she would not be available, from this time ti this time, tech told he could come by at 930 a time my wife said she could not be there, but tech said he meant, 930 at night. Alarm bells went off, I called Dell and told them that I did not want this tech coming to my house. Because of his wanting to drop by at 930 at night after talkin o my wife. Dell said they would send another tech, that tech came installed harddrive, I came home computer was on the floor nose down on the floor, with connections end up in the air, with nothing connected to the computer, zip.
Tech called that evening and told me he had some problems getting the computer to boot up. I called Dell again I told them that since this unit was still under warranty that I would like a replacement unit. They said though it was still under warranty, to much time had passed, and they were no longer willing to replace it. I have as I said at this hardly gotten to really use the. PC. They said that the computer need something else done to it,nand said they would, send another tech. My experiences with there tech in the past, led me to tell hem to shove there computer and there tech support, and that I would get another PC. As fate would have it I lost my job and am now unable to get a new computer.
