MSI GT70-2OC A Mess

Hello, I've had an MSI GT70-2OC for about a year now and at first it was heavenly to be able to finally run games and do schoolwork on a decent machine. Then the issues started.

At first I noticed that when coming out of hibernation it would say it failed to retrieve the restoration info and only gave me an option to delete and restart. I did this for a while, but soon found that thumping the computer's side (the section over the left-side exhaust) when the screen had not turned on yet but the power button was on fixed it. After that I started having other problems. The laptop has two graphics cards, the intel which is used for most things, and the Nvidia GTX770M. It uses the intel card for most things, but switches to the 770 for games. The change can be noticed in the power button going from white (intel) to orange (nvidia). The problem is that sometimes the light will go orange and the fan will begin to spin at max even when not playing a game or when the computer is still cool. This will happen randomly and the only fix seems to be shutting the computer off hard by holding down the power button. A gamble is again thumping that same spot. Sometimes the fan will slow down and the button returns to white, everything returning to normal functionality. Other times the fan will go down, but the orange light continues. In this case the computer will soon become unresponsive, programs not acting as if they were not responding but rather as if they were not being clicked at all. This second outcome of the thumping invariably leads to a BSOD crash. And now a new problem has popped up. When the computer boots and I log in, an error from Microsoft .NET Framework will appear and tell me an unhandled exception has occured. Sometimes it will be an unhandled exception with SCM instead but either way it happens.

I love my laptop and would love to see it bring me hours of joy for a few more years but at the rate its going I dont think it'll last even one more. Someone please help!

(As a side-note, I do have antivirus. I use Avast because I have found many issues with Norton and because Avast has a free mode.)

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
