Our acer windows 7 desktop recently got a virus that caused the computer to be unstable so we restored the computer using the restore to factory settings with the restore program. We have no factory restore disc. After the restore the computer is still very sluggish and the hard drive is clicking constantly. It also seems to lock while viewing web pages. Prior to getting the virus the computer was working great with no apparent issues. At this point we haven't installed any programs other than the ones that came loaded with the restore. Is it possible the virus is still on the computer? Or is there something else going on.
