In addition to the admin user, who has all drives mapped correctly, I have a standard user for the kid. I have a drive S:\ (a partition of a drive, actually) that we have our financial stuff on (taxes, bank info, etc). I want to prevent the kid from accidentally deleting anything from this drive.
What I was thinking is removing the mapping for this drive from the Standard User.If I log into and unmap the drive from the Standard User, will the mapping still be there for the admin? Or, if there is a better way to remove the drive from the Standard User?
I don't want to create a permission that gives an "Access Denied" dialog box. I'd rather he not even know the drive exists.
