I just found a HP XW 4600 WorkStation this morning. I know nothing about it other than it has a HD, memory sticks, starts up and was manufactured in Nov. '07. A sticker shows it's been refurbished and Windows 7 is installed.
The "Windows Error Recovery" screen appears, but when choosing a start-up mode the computer will not start Windows 7 in any mode. Then the "Starting Windows" screen appears and the process repeats itself. I'm guessing the OS is still in there somewhere.
I don't have a recovery CD and don't have Windows 7 software. I believe this machine originally had Vista or XP installed.
