On occasion I have noticed that the little orbiting symbol ("Working" indicator next to the mouse pointer) continues constantly when pointing on the desktop, but disappears when the pointer is on a running app. I have not noted any problem with opening, running and closing applications, but the "Working" indicator does not go away
After closing all running apps, it still continues, yet nothing show up iunder apps or processes when I bring up Task Manager.
Rebooting gets rid of the problem, but what can be the cause and can I stop it without rebooting?
