Solved: windows update error and screen size blurry

Ok I had to reformat my computer due to the blue screen of death. I did all the initial updates via windows update. I now cannot update it any more as i get the error message WindowsUpdate_80246002" "WindowsUpdate_dt000 I ran the windows update trouble shooter it fixed 2 things .. rebooted and it still wont work.

Also the screen is big and it causes things to look blurry.. I have used the screen resolution to change it and nothing different it looks the same no matter what I put it at... and I have also used the zoom size in chrome and still no go.. this one im pretty sure is simple but i for the life of me cannot figure it out. I am thinking it would fix itself once i get all the proper updates done as i am pretty sure thats what happened last time. Not able to attatch a file as it keeps telling me its too big.
