I am 68 retired, no colleagues that can help and not a skilled enough to figure out what is an unnecessary start up service. I have a windows 7 professional Thinkpad x220. 4G RAM I-5 2nd generation processor. The start up takes about 2 minutes.
One thing I knew I did not need in start up was Bluetooth, to extend battery life. I removed it form start up and from Services in msconfig. For some reason the bluetooth light on the Thinkpad remains lit up.alongside the wifi light.
I have no idea how to make a copy of the Start Up list that I can send in order to get advice on what can be disabled.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated
