Make that I AM AT MY WITS END!

A week ago Frank walked me through problems in a XP thread re slow performance of my Desktop.

We made no progress and so I took it to my repairer and had a new SSD and extra memory fitted and they loaded Win7 Pro 32bit for me.

I have had it home for 1 day and loaded a few standard programs like Firefox, Office 2003 and a couple of others but the freakin thing is doing the same thing! It intermittently runs ok but then intermittently it is impossibly slow and I cannot detect any one thing causing it?
