Solved: Problems with my PC

I purchased my Windows 7 PC in Autumn of 2012, to use for PC gaming. Recently, I have noticed some problems occurring with my PC. My computer freezes frequently, as does the sound during the freeze. When I try to press Ctrl-Alt-Del, it may or may not work, and if it does, my computer slows to a halt, then after closing down everything, returns to normal. If it does not work, I press the power button on my tower to turn it off. When it turns on, I see the menu asking if I would like to continue as normal, (the menu where there is a 30 second time limit, I don't know the name) and my mouse or keys never work here, so I wait the 30 seconds, and the computer starts Windows as normal. I've tried defragmenting my computer, and I've used the Disk Cleanup. I'd really appreciate some help, and I'd like to know whether it's time to replace some parts of my PC, such as the fan, or sound card. :D
