I'm looking for a way to change proxy settings depending on what network a client is on.. While it seems pretty simple, I'm unable to use a pac file with IP detection in it.. The proxy settings need to be specified directly.
I need to be able to change the proxy settings to different servers for different offices, then have them disabled if not on one of the corporate networks..
As I said, I cannot use a pac (or any other proxy configuration script), Can be done via group policy - I had a look, but as our servers are only running 2008 (not 2008 R2), I'm unable to do item level targeted proxy settings for anything older than IE7 - That I've been able to see anyway.
