I installed Windows 7 on this computer on July 6, 2011. Since that install I upgraded CPU and GPU a few times. Also running O/C to 4.0. All the important Windows Updates have been installed (I don't allow automatic updates of anything on my computers). I'm planning an upgrade to LGA 1150: Prob i7 4770K with an Asus board, not sure which. Will also upgrade the RAM and GPU, I already use liquid cooling.
I've not had any real problems, but since I may also install a SSD, I am wondering if I should do a clean install or migrate the system drive over. I really hate to think about all the work a clean install will entail and am leaning toward the migration. I realize that inevitably I will have to re-install but should I postpone it? I have many game programs on various drives/partitions that would have to be re-installed.
Need some advice.
