Solved: Password issue

We went on vacation and upon return my wife's Win 7 computer now asks for a password to just open Windows. I did not initiate a password but did set a password on my own machine for security while gone. The machines are linked via a router but her machine was not on at the time.


Anyway, she cannot use her machine due to the fact that it is demanding a password and the machine won't come up using any of the passwords we usually use.


I thought I would just do a complete factory refresh since she just uses the machine to browse the internet and had nothing saved of any value but that will not work either because the damned thing is still is asking for a password.


Any ideas out there?
