user profile service failed the logon

When trying to log on to my laptop I get a message telling me that my user name or password is incorrect which it is not.
Then, I try to reset password it gives me a message telling me "this feature requires removable media such as floppy disc or USB flash drive."
My computer is Toshiba Satellite L855D with Windows 7.
Please help!
