I am running Windows 7 on a HP2010i For a long time I was using Internet Explorer as my browser. I decided based on advice from several people to download Firefox. For a while it seemed to work. Then I begin to get the following message whenever I went to one of my ''normal' sites: Yahoo, Weather Channel, my online banking, etc: (It appears in a large box in the middle of the screen. When I select 'x' on the box, it brings up a search screen with www.default-search.net.......in the command line with a search engine box in the middle of the screen.
In the box is: Chrome.exe bad image
c:\Program Files (X86) Settings Manager\system\systemk.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it
contains an error. Try installing the program agaiin using the original installation media or contact
your System Administrator or the software vendor for support.
Does anyone recognize this or know what I need to do to get rid of it? thanks Clay
