Hi recently moved reluctantly from Win XP to Win 7 Pro. Sigh.
Having run a Hijack report I see that I have 29 services in category O23. Surprisingly, 21 of these are listed as 'file missing', yet everything appears to be running ok and I only checked Hijack out of curiosity. Here is an example:
O23 - Service: @%systemroot%\system32\fxsresm.dll,-118 (Fax) - Unknown owner - C:\Windows\system32\fxssvc.exe (file missing)
Do I need to panic at all? Obviously, all malware checks are clear.
