windows 7 file attachment on mail problem

hell guys i have installed windows 7. now when i open gmail on chrome and click on file attachment it opens dialoge box from where i can select file.
but in my case in this dialogue box for example E drive opened when i click anywhere on that box eithe ron any folder or other drive nothing opens and i cant attach file.
so any driver issue or what? in XP it never happens
