Windows 7 Utilities Program

I have an image of my box from when I first set it up so I can restore my machine but, is there a utility set out there that can fix some of the speed problems I am having.

I don't really want to have to re install all the other programs. My image, I believe, only has Win 7 and MS Office on it.

Is there a tool out there that can help me with the speed issues.

I have XP Repair and ToolWiz Care. Both of them inform me that I do not need to defragment and the registry is fine but the box is still slow.

I also have one other problem. When I try to transfer files from a hard disk to a USB sometimes the transfer never finishes, that problem is getting progressively worse.

What should I do?
