I am trying to help my mom with her computer. She had Java and likes to play her pogo games. She said she went to update it and it hasn't worked again. I have tried multiple times to install it and it says java cannot be downloaded. I have uninstalled the version on the computer (hope that wasn't a mistake). I have reset ie settings. I've tried everything I can think or suggested on internet. There are no versions of Java detected so it should be a clean download.
It will not even download the fix scan tool suggested to identify errors, so I do not believe it's a problem with just Java. The account control settings are correct as far as I can tell. Not sure what other kind of changes need to be made.
