Printing problems

I have inherited a Dell PC Optiplex 980 with windows 7 and have an HP Color Laserjet printer CP2025. The printer is connected to my router. I have no problems printing word documents but it will not print anything from the internet and when I click on devices and printers the printer does not show anything pending. Can you help?
