I have a laptop that I had when I worked for a prior company. They had a good it shop and until I left all was good. I know own the laptop but it keeps looking for domain and will not allow me to turn on the firewall or some other settings. The two errors are that the group policy does not allow changes or I am not a system administrator even though I am logged in as a full rights administrator.
I do not have access to the domain and do not have the system admin log in info. I can not reload widows since the software authorization is based on domain authentication.
So is there a way to generate windows authorization numbers or is there a way to remove all system administration and group policy impacts?
