Solved: What causes HP Recovery to fill up so fast

I have HP Pavillion Slimline s5747 c-b windows 7. 64 bit. Desk top. The HP Recovery(D) is almost full, while the C drive is almost empty. What causes the HP Recovery to fill up so fast? What do I do?
