Hi guys,
This seems like a great site, so big thanks to all you people volunteering here.
I've had my PC gaming stationary computer for a couple of years. Last year I upgraded to an SSD harddrive, new graphics card and Windows 7 (from Vista)
It worked decent (some minor issues here and there but whatever) but now when I came back after not been using it for 3 months, it freezes at random moments. And it's up towards the point where I give up shutting it down and reeboting. I can be in the middle of a download, or browsing something on a webpage, or even just leaving it be for 2 minutes and then all of the sudden it freezes.
I have updated all the drivers, windows updates and tried the Advanced System Care which takes care of some problems (as it states) but does not help with anything to do with the freezing. I have runned some anti-virus systems on it as well. Nothing to be found.
Any suggestings of what I can do? I feel like I don't have the knowledge coming up with new things to try.
I forgot to add I run with a Gigabyte motherboard. I think I saw someone having problems with that somewhere. Could that be it? Why wouldn't the problem have occured 4 years ago?
I would appreciate any ideas, advice, suggestions or even just a greeting :p
Thank you so much,
Charlie :o
