An mp3 file I had stored on an external hard drive at some point became a folder with the same name, but with .mp3 on the end. Trying to open the folder gives me an error that says the directory is invalid. Now, the file wasn't really important to me at all, so I just shift-deleted it. It asked me if I was sure I wanted to delete it, and after pressing "yes" nothing happened. I tried sending it to the recycle bin, but pressing "empty the recycle bin" had the same result. none of the other files in the recycle bin were deleted either, but deleting each one individually got rid of them. The folder being there isn't really having any visible impact on the computer, but it's being there is driving me nuts. Please help!
