Converting then Reverting updates

My computer shuts down at 9am and again at 7:15pm no matter what I am doing.
About half of the time I can catch it in the evening as I get a warning. In the morning, I do not.

This mornings messages...

As it is shutting down - "Configuring Windows Updates"
As it comes back up - "Configuring Windows Updates"
Then - "Failure to Configure Updates"
Then - "Reverting Changes"
Then - Preparing to Configure Windows"

In the evening, it is also Configuring Windows updates but I don't believe it shuts down after that.
If I can catch it, I postpone for 4 hours. Since I go to bed at 11pm, I don't see it all the time.

Someone helped me a few months ago with this problem but the solution they gave me then does not work in this situation
Command prompt: net stop Wuaserv
Start: %windir%
Rename Software Distribution folder to "Old"
Command Prompt: net start Wuaserv
Wait for "Windows Update Service has successfully"
Exit Command prompt
Reboot.

Please help
