Okay so I bought a Samsung 500gb SSD, and tried to install it myself. Computer at first didn't recognise it, so me and my friend messed around with the settings a bit (dumb idea), and now I just seem to have completely ****ed up my comp.
If I go on my computer, the SSD appears there as Samsung SDD (E:) next to the Local Disk (C:). The local disk is my original 120gb SSD which is still in the computer alongside the other one. The Samsung one has nothing on it currently.
Somewhere along the line windows has gone back to some weird old theme and forgotten all the new ones, I still have my desktop background etc but the start menu looks like it's from Windows 2002 or w/e, not from Windows 7 which is what I run. Not sure if this is relevant or not to my problems.
The biggest issue is I cannot connect to the internet. If I click connect to the internet in control panel, it says Windows did not detect any networking hardware. If I click on Network and sharing centre it says ' the dependence service or group failed to start'.
My mother board is a Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V if that is useful information, I really appreciate any help with getting my computer back to running normally.
