My colleague's pc suddenly would no longer respond when she pressed ctrl+p, then a day later she discovered that her ctrl+f no longer works. We tried to reassign it, but it appears that ctrl+p and ctrl+f are still correctly assigned to the print and find commands.
We have tried deleting the ctrl+p keyboard shortcut and then putting it back in, but somehow when we press the ctrl button and the p together nothing happens (we can type in ctrl q for example, just not ctrl together with p).
When we press "reset all", the ctrl+p is back under "current keys", but still doesn't work.
This is happening in all applications. We have also tried attaching a different keyboard and tried plugging it in different usb ports. Nothing made a difference.
Has anyone got any ideas what might be causing this?
