New System won't let me upload pictures

I've just bought a new system with Windows 7. I build websites. I use various different software for this. Dreamweaver is one and it allows me to upload images as usual from my computer to the internet, but it's the only one that still works. My other web building software won't.
Worst of all, I cannot upload images to any online software like facebook, Wordpress and some others.
One of my programs give me an error 150. The online programmes give no message - they just fail to work.
