Running slow

I have a Acer laptop, windows 7 OS. When I start it up I get this error message:


THERE IS A PROBLEM STARTING

THE SPECIFIED MODULE CANNOT BE FOUND


Since getting this error my system has had problems downloading any videos, playing games, viewing gifs. I thought it might be a problem with firefox browser so I deleted it, and started using Google Chrome. Same problems. Face book is so slow it takes forever to get into it. YouTube, same issues. A video will download and view a few seconds then stop. No crashes. And I have run a virus scan, defragmented, deleted cookies. Help!
