windows Security Popup Warning

Please, someone help. This is driving me absolutely insane.

So yesterday I was doing general maintenance on my computer. ran Windows Update and updated everything I wanted. After everything was finished I ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

I'm convinced that something in my updates has changed my settings. The problem I am having is that every time I try to drag and drop shortcuts, folders, pretty much anything INSIDE MY OWN PC to another location on my PC via desktop or inside directory windows I get the infuriating popup warning from Windows Security. 'These files might be harmful to your computer, Your internet security settings suggest that one or more files may be harmful. Do you want to use it anyway?' OK|Cancel.

I can cut and paste just fine but can not drag and drop practically anything without getting this ridiculous popup.

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TRIED SO FAR

Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Sites -> Advanced -> added IP address of my PC.
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Sites -> Unticked 'automatically detect intranet network'
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Sites -> ticked all 3 boxes underneath 'automatically detect intranet network'
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Custom Level Security Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Access data sources across domains (Enable)
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Custom Level Security Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Drag and Drop or Copy and Paste files (Enable).

I have UAC slider turned all the way down to 'never notify' (This is the same as turning UAC off, yes?)
I have windows defender and windows firewall services disabled via services.msc

None of this has worked!

I am running Windows 7 Professional I am on a Sky Broadband Wireless Connection (Wireless Connection 4) and I have administrator access. Before my updates, this did not happen. I have not set up a Local Area Network, I am on a Home Network and I am not sharing anything in my Homegroup.

I know this complaint isn't a PC destroying problem but it is absolutely infuriating as I tidy my PC up a lot in regards to where my shortcuts, folders and such are kept. I do NOT want this stupid warning on my PC as all I'm trying to do is drag shortcuts and folders from one location to another ON MY OWN PC.

Please, someone help. I have wasted 3 hours trying to correct this pathetic idea of Windows programmers. I have absolutely ran out of ideas.

Thank you.
