Startup

I recently had a problem with my PC's startup and ran a diagnostic program which seemed to repair it. However, when I startup my system now, instead of going through to my desktop, I get a message to the effect that " Choose Operating System" and I have the options of "Windows 7", or Windows 7 Home Premium (recovered)" Can anyone help me to get back to where this message does not display and I get straight to the desktop? Thanks.
