I know this has been posted before but I need more specific instructions before I start screwing with my computer, I like most have too much to lose!!!
About 2 years ago, after having downloaded a Microsoft update my computer started to hang at 30% on shut down, now on all shut downs. It didn't bother me much until recently since it has become increasingly hard to get it booted back up after a forced shutdown (yeah I know I should have done something before now). It's now almost impossible to reboot, hanging during reboot.
I'll check back after work today...thanks in advance for all your help!!! John
