I have the same problem as this man here
http://forums.techguy.org/windows-7/...p-manager.html
Whenever I open a media file (.mkv in most cases) in media player classic home cinemaI run into this issue where the file doesn't open and BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1 windows installer runs and tries to install Blackberry. It can't because most everything Blackberry related on my computer is gone...or so I thought. I ran virus scans using spybot search and destroy and windows security essentials and nothing changed. I have un/reinstalled Media player classic many times to no avail. When I open the same files in VLC they work just fine. I followed the last step in the thread I posted and the command line for the processes (found in process manager) that runs when Blackberry desktop software installers opens are these.
I did not go through the first two steps in the previous because the person said they did not work for him. I had used MPC-HC successfully for years until recently.
C:\Windows\syswow64\MsiExec.exe -Embedding 9BAA1ECF1DE177F92A9A0F63C485BE93
C:\Windows\system32\MsiExec.exe -Embedding 9AE45C0A1FF824829AAECB3D911B3773 M Global\MSI0000
C:\Windows\syswow64\MsiExec.exe -Embedding ED4AF619EEA640344B7E0F6049081BEC M Global\MSI0000
any idea on how to get rid of these?
Thank you
