windows 7 starter and itunes 11

I have a asus netbook running windows 7 starter. When I install itunes 11, I get an install error. I am trying to get some old podcasts to my new iphone. I think I need itunes 11 because when I plug my iphone 5c in to the netbook it does not show up in tunes.

please help
