Solved: SD Card will not show stored files

I have a SD card in my pc that I use to backup some files on.
Now when I open the card, it says that this "This folder is empty." It is not empty. When I right click and select Properties, it says that 9.10GB used and 5.72GB free. It is a 16GB Ultra SanDisk SD card.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make the disk show the info on the card.

It is not a big problem because I also have the files on the PC hard drive, but I would like to know what happened and can it be fixed without formatting the card.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Don
