The file stdole32.tlb is corrupted. I have run Scannow which identifies the problem in the log but says it can't repair.
I have tried to replace it with a good copy but Win 7 will not allow it even when I run as Administrator. I have tried taking ownership of the file but that doesn't work either. It seems only TrustedInstaller can do it.
Is there a way round this?
stdole32.tbl is associated with Excel2007. I have tried a Repair but this doesn't work.
