Hi all
I am having weird printing issues that started around beginning of March. Happening to around 3 machines. They are all on Win 7 in a domain environment all using the same driver. Cannot print to the network printers that are mapped by Group policy. All other users ok apart from these 3.
Does not work
Not network profile specific - can log onto other network machines works fine.
Definately local profile specific - copied local profile to another machine cannot replicate issue.
Checked windows update - working machines have same updates. - so ruled that one out..
Re-created local profile - didn't work.
ran malware/antivirus - nothing.
Works
Only time I can get it to work is if I log on as the user, allow the printers (scripted) to install - remove them - then log off then back on -run test page - works for about 60secs then stops working.
Mapping a direct tcp/ip connection - works.
Changing the driver from pcl 5 v5.5 to pcl6 allows it to work but then it is not using the correct driver.
Re-imaging the machine works but a drawn out procedure.
If anyone has any other ideas it would be much appreciated.
