I don't really know how to word my question or title because I don't know exactly what is wrong myself.
Well, first off, my computer has been refusing to shut down. It will just hang and hang and hang on the "Shutting down." screen. When the spinning icon stops spinning, and my computer stops blinking, I usually give in and manually turn off my PC.
I may have fixed this? Though? I noticed my Network Controller was yellow in device manager, so I went and installed the drivers fixing it, I also read somewhere online to unplug my Logitech webcam. It now restarts and shuts down. Yay.
BUT??????
Now my PC is lagging ridiculously. I cannot do ANYTHING. Typing alone is a chore. As in, after I finish typing, I have to wait for the PC to finish displaying all the letters? Extreme lag.
Also, other issues, my PC freezes.... It just locks up and I am forced to reset it/turn it off manually. It does this a few times a week for the past few months or so. Now, since the above, it seems to be worse, but that could just have to do with the lag?
I can't remember everything I have tried, this has been an ongoing problem for months. (Lag is new as of today and what pushed me to my breaking point to ask this forum for help.)
Also, #1, Windows updates were refusing to install but for some reason uninstalling Office 2003 fixed that issue? I don't know. Since then I have run all the updates that failed, and installed them.
Also, #2, Firefox hates me lately. I read somewhere it may hate my video card driver? Basically it will go... black.. and then show multiple tabs in one window................. I don't know how to explain... But the images of all the tabs are glitchily in squares all in one window with black... and.. I wish I had a screen cap I am not making sense. (Actually, I do have this one, which is combining 2 tabs together, a tumblr page and youtube, and then the black stuff...)
