got a VERY weird problem

I have seen puters do a lot of crazy stuff but, never had a problem like this. My current laptop is an HP G7 running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. The bug that I'm having is related to my Synaptics touchpad driver. When I am using my touchpad, whether scrolling or just moving and clicking, everything is perfect. But, if I happen to graze my touchpad with a second finger while it's in use, my Synaptics touchpad enhancments driver crashes. It is a multi gesture multi finger touchpad and driver, it is the most up to date driver. I can use my pinch zoom, 3 finger flick, press, scroll, etc. with no problem, but when I barely graze it with a second finger it freezes and crashes. I have tried rolling back the driver, I have tried to find solution through diagnostics, I have sent a crash report to Synaptics & HP and each one told me that the other was responsible. I don't know what to do and it's really annoying!
