Right click menu takes a long time to open

Hello,


I have a problem when I right click to get a menu it seems to take a long time to open.


For example the trash can...
When I right click it takes a long time to open the menu.


Now, I know that there is a lot of information about this subject on the internet but some of the information I have read I feel is out dated as when I click on links that are give in the articles they don't work.


I am not sure what I need to do to get this to work correctly.
