Greetings One And All Not quite sure if this is in the correct part of the forum so please feel free to move it if you see fit. Also sorry for the long post, but trying to give as much information as possible PC One Running Win 7 Pro 64bit PC Two Running Win 7 Home Premium 32bit Both of these machines are attached (wired) to a Netgear WNR3500L Running Tomato Firmware v1.28.7500 MIPSR2Toastman-RT K26 USB Ext and attached to the Netgear is a WD 1TB hard drive and a Seagate Freeagent 1TB via a generic no name USB hub. In general I use one of the hard drives and my partner puts her stuff on the other one with a few folders synced (i.e. photos ) so if one drive goes down we have a backup (not my only form of backup). Both of us use these drives mainly to store our media such as films, music and photos. But I have a problem.... As you can see by the title of the post i cant delete/rename or take ownership of some of the files (seems to be random as to which ones). If i go into properties of a file or folder it shows Read Only and Archive checked If I go onto security tab in the Groups and Usernames it has Everyone (Read) S-1-22-1-0 (Read and Read and Execute) S-1-22-2-0 (Read) Both of the users that start with the S have a red question mark against their icon, and if i go to change ownership it lists the two weirdly name users and me but I am unable to take ownership added to that sometimes i can change permission for a single file sometimes i cant Any help would be appreciated. Im not adverse to playing round with a Live Linux Distro or using the command line if i have the proper instructions but this one has me stumped. Cheers BambiBus PS. When i type i try to put paragraph breaks in for ease of reading but when i perview it comes as on big blob so sorry if whn i post its on big blob of text
