Win 7 Pro on Toshiba Satellite Laptop.
New clean 500Gb external drive for saving to, back-up etc.
The problem(s):
A scan says there are 3,500 items to fix. On your advice I’ve done nothing about that.

Firefox refuses to open. After several attempts several copies will open. I close the unneeded ones and while using the programme it will become Unresponsive. Close, reopen and it goes to Restore Session. Auto updates fail to install. Internet videos will not play though I can get some progress from printed pages and internet banking once things are running. The problems go on.
Word will do the same. Everything goes at a crawl but once open works ok but will shut down unexpectedly. Reopening will Rediscover my work up to the last Saved point.
If you can help me I’m happy to go to any extent other than reinstalling Win7 from the discs as I can’t find the discs.
Mike.
