In an effort to deal with two system errors found by Control Panel's Performance Information and Tools / Advanced Tools / System Health Report, I have plumbed the depths of my knowledge of Windows 7. So, HELP!!!
The two errors reported are:
1. A system service has stopped with an error code of 1067. Examining the services statuses, I found the service name to be Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology. It is set to start automatically with a delay on startup. But it is in the "stopped" condition. When I try to start it from Adminstrative Services by using the Properties button, it begins to start but the process of starting stops after about 10 seconds. Why won't it start? How do I start it?
2. A device appears to be faulty or missing. The driver is Win32_PnPEntity.DeviceID = "Root\Sensor\0000"
While I am waiting for a TSG helper to come to my aid, I shall try to determine if I have the Intel program in Program Files. If it is not there, it cannot be started, right? How would I restore it?
Also, I shall do a search for the device that seems to be a missing entity. If it is missing, I don't know where to find it.
My system seems to work well, but if its health got a bad report I should investigate, right?
