Can't reboot after uninstalling security suite

I can't boot my computer so I can't DL TSG SysInfo. I uninstalled my security suite (avast) so that I could switch to something else. I attempted to reboot but can get no further than the password screen. The mouse and keyboard do not work so I can't enter my password. I tried to reboot to safe mode but that did not help. I was not having any problems before this happened. I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help?

I am running win 7 Home Premium (x64) and it is fully updated. Desktop with an AMD Phenom triple-core processor with 4GB RAM, 600GB HD with over 300 GB free space.
